2011 GMC Terrain
- Optional 3.0-litre V6 engine is now E85-capable

Introduced as an all-new model for 2010, the GMC Terrain is unchanged for 2011, except that its optional 3.0-litre V6 engine can now be operated with E85 ethanol fuel if desired.
A sister vehicle to the Chevrolet Equinox, the Terrain comes with a choice of two engines: a 2.4-litre four-cylinder, and a 3.0-litre V6 that can be optioned on every line except the base SLE-1. Both use a six-speed automatic transmission. Configuration choices are front- or all-wheel drive, with each available in SLE-1, SLE-2, SLT-1 and SLT-2 trim.
Features on the SLE-1 models include 17-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, body-colour door handles, fog lights, privacy glass, heated mirrors, variable intermittent wipers, intermittent rear wiper, cruise control, floor mats, cloth seats with power driver’s height adjustment, 60/40 split-folding sliding and reclining rear seat, CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input and USB port, driver information centre, auto-dimming mirror with rearview camera display, tilt and telescopic steering column, express-down windows, keyless entry, anti-theft alarm, and OnStar.
The SLE-2 adds roof rack side rails, automatic climate control, instrument panel ambient lighting, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, premium cloth seats, eight-way power driver’s seat, Pioneer sound system with subwoofer, and XM satellite radio.
The SLT-1 adds tire pressure monitoring system, remote starter, and heated perforated leather seats.
The SLT-2 adds chrome door handles and mirrors, power liftgate with programmable height, chrome roof rack side rails, rear chrome skid plates, power sunroof, interior door handle ambient lighting, driver’s side memory, and rear parking audible assist.
Optioning to the 3.0-litre V6 also adds 18-inch alloy wheels, hydraulic power steering, and dual chrome-tipped exhaust.
